Despite being a supporter of auDA since participating in its formation with the .au Working Group in 1999, I recognise it has many shortcomings. As a supply auDA board member I can be an effective agent of change by driving registrar and reseller concerns with the rest of the board. The specific areas I would press for are :
Bennett Oprysa - Supply
Over the last 2 years I have been heavily involved with policy fine-tuning through close interaction with auDA. I have had a significant role in the technical development of the Enetica registrar system and I am the main point of contact with our vast reseller network and handle reseller issues on a daily basis.
I have been and will continue to be very active and vocal in dealings with auDA, I believe my combined technical and business knowledge of the .au environment provides a good platform to further the interests of registrars and resellers within auDA's role as industry ... Kim Davies - Demand
I have been heavily involved with auDA since its conception, and seek to restand for an additional term as a Demand class director.
Along with a deep understanding of DNS issues, I work daily with ccTLDs from around the world, and participate in international forums such as the IETF and ICANN. This provides me with invaluable experience and insight into best practice that can be applied to Australia.
With what we have learnt, and based on broad feedback, I think we can continue to improve the DNS regime in Australia. I look forward to serving the community for another term.

Josh Rowe has over 10 years experience with the Internet. Josh is currently a demand class board member and would like to be re-elected for another term. Josh is a staunch consumer advocate within the Australian domain name industry especially in regards to exposing unscrupulous operators. Karl Schaffarczyk - Demand

Karl has grown Inspired Networking to be an ISP operating across Australia. He has been involved with the net since the early 1990s. He is well-versed in DNS management, open source and networking technologies.

Liz Williams - Demand
My experience as a former auDA director between 2000-2002 and as Deputy Chair of the Board, my long-standing involvement in ICANN's Registrar's and ccTLD Constituencies and my commercial experience in the industry equip me well to make another positive contribution to the Board.
I have also recently completed a PhD on the globalisation of regulation and the domain name system. I am willing to serve the Australian Internet community as an active and energetic auDA Board Member.

Scott Gardiner - Rep Assoc
I am a lawyer and a patent attorney currently working with Phillips Ormonde & Fitzpatrick. I have been working in the area of intellectual property and domain names for 5 years.
As a representative of the Institute of Patent and Trademark Attorneys of Australia my aim is to ensure that the rights of intellectual property owners are protected by domain name policies.
Chad Gates - Rep Assoc
Chad Gates is Director - IT & E-commerce at the Australian Retailers Association. Chad provides resources and advice to retailers, vendors and Government in the areas of retail technology, IT planning and deployment. He is responsible for maintenance of the ARA's IT infrastructure and representing the retail industry to Government on IT related issues. Chad has been working in the retail industry since 1985, is an Arts graduate from Monash University and holds a certificate IV in personal skill development. He is an Executive Board Member of EAN Australia and is undertaking a Masters of Business Technology at Monash University.
Peter Nissen - Rep Assoc
I am a member of the auDA Membership Committee and have played an active role in the New Names process to clarify the difference between open and closed domains.
I fully support the auDA Foundation and will work to ensure its meets its objectives to improve the utility of the Australian Internet.

the Executive Officer (Projects) with CAUDIT, a consultant to the Australian
Research and Education Network Advisory Committee and as a Director of
