Membership of auDA is open to all stakeholders of the Australian domain name system.
Membership entitles you to vote at Annual General Meetings of auDA (see clause 16.1 of the auDA Constitution).
There are two classes of membership available:
The classes are defined in clauses 9.3-9.6 of the auDA Constitution.
The annual membership fees are as follows:
Membership fees may be paid by mail (cash or cheque) or by direct deposit.

A receipt for payment of fees will be issued on request.
To become an auDA member, please submit the Membership Form.
Applications for membership must be approved by the auDA Board (see clause 9.9 of the auDA Constitution). Your application will be considered at the next scheduled meeting of the auDA Board.
You do not need to pay any membership fees until after your membership has been approved.
When your membership has been approved and you have paid your membership fees, your name will be added to the List of auDA Members.
You are not required to become an auDA Member or have auDA accreditation to register a .au domain name.
Domain names in .au are licensed to applicants on a first come first served basis who meet one of the eligibility criteria which you can find in our Eligibility and Allocation Policy at http://www.auda.org.au/policies/auda-2008-05/.
Please contact an auDA accredited registrar http://www.auda.org.au/registrars/accredited-registrars/ to assist you to register a domain name.
