2010 Australia and New Zealand Internet Best Practice Awards Winners Announced

19/Oct/2010

The winners of the 2010 Australia and New Zealand Internet Best Practice Awards were announced last night at a gala dinner at Crown Towers, Melbourne.

The Awards, convened by .au Domain Administration Ltd (auDA) and Internet NZ Inc recognise organisations, businesses, groups and individuals that have contributed to the development and take up of the Internet in Australia and New Zealand.

“The Awards were established to recognise initiatives that have embraced the possibilities presented by the Internet – to reach out to a community of users, to improve security or to make useful information available online” said auDA CEO, Chris Disspain.

“They are a way to engage organisations that aren’t a part of the traditional ‘Internet industry’ but who use the Internet to improve the lives of Australians and New Zealanders. To that end, we’re extremely pleased with the wide range of excellent entries that were received and very proud of the deserving winners”.
