On 20 January 2003, auDA terminated A1 Registrar's accreditation due to an ongoing shareholder's dispute (see auDA Media Release 20/01/2003).
Please note that your domain name is NOT at risk. Your domain name will continue unaffected until the expiry date.
In order to renew your domain name before it expires, you need to nominate a new Registrar of Record.
How to nominate a Registrar of Record: A list of accredited registrars and links to their web sites is available here. There is no charge for simply nominating a Registrar of Record, but some registrars may charge for additional services. It is important to check the service offerings and charges of each registrar before making your choice.
Once you have chosen a Registrar you will need to contact them and give them your Domain Name Password (previously called the Registry Key). If you know your password, you can give it to the registrar of your choice. They will do the rest. If you do not know your password, go to the Recover Password Tool and follow the instructions.
Carrying out these few tasks now will ensure that your domain name details are up to date and that you can renew your domain name before it expires.
