I strongly believe in we should be allowed to buy and sell .com.au domain names, like the USA does. Why is there such a restrictive monopoly in this area? We are allowed to choose our internet provider. Free market economy is always best for the consumer it insures best price and performance. I have often needed to buy a domain for my parents which is often a huge hassle when it comes to Australian domains and a lot of the time I have decided just to not worry about it, I believe its un-Australian for it to continue like it is.
