I must support the idea of a specific location for indigenous websites.

I maintain a number of sites for First Nations peoples in Oz (eg:  
http://www.deathsincustody.com) and I feel that a greater sense of 
ownership might prevail should a specific "point" on the web be allocated.

Questions?

Treated as a ".asn" ".com" or (".com.au" - ie more expensive than the 'usa' 
registrations)??

Over to the experts, but the need exists...

PS, how come so little distributed and so short fused??
