Dear Ms Lim,

 

The Fremantle Chamber of Commerce has received, via one of our members Mr Sean Stevens, a copy 
of the draft policy rules for the issue of community geographic domain names.

 

We have studied these rules in depth and are satisfied that they are clear and easy to follow and 
in our opinion will lead to appropriate community bodies being granted these important domain names.

 

Our only slight concern is that Guideline 2a)ii): indicates that a minimum of eight members may be 
sufficient. We are wondering if that in fact would be enough members for a group to be seen as 
representative, except in very small communities.

 

The Chamber looks forward to the approval of these policies and in turn applying for fremantle.wa.au 
as we feel confident that we comply in all respects to the draft policies.
