I would like to argue about the discrimination being handed down 
by the registring authorities, with respect to names being registered, 
which have significance as a geographic location.

I have un-successfully tried to register bondi.com.au . I operate a 
registered company under the name Bondi Pty ltd, which does various 
It related works, nothing to do with any tourism or as such.

There are some double standards being applied on the place name 
registrations.

Take a look at this domain name:

www.strathfield.com.au

It is not a community organisation, it is a commercial for profiy 
entity. Why were they allowed to register this place name?

The policy should be fair to every one and not for some of them.

I am going to great lengths to change my company name to something 
that i could be assured of getting a domain name in the .com.au 
name space.
