This is a poorly thought out and some what draconian policy as many Australian Companies have business names, that reflect their location and a study of any telephone book will reveal this. As an extension of this a domain name relating to their business name is also desired and essential in their world wide web presence. I would believe that by restricting these companies ability to promote themselves would be a restraint of trade within the scope of the trade Practices Act and subject to legal action.
