This would be a boon for a number of different economic social and cultural groups. Effective, efficient use and advertisement of local area resources could be greatly increased, effecting everything from tourism to manufacturing. I am of the firm belief that if the current policy were to be changed a great community enhancing tool would be made available to the public. I also believe that private business would best learn how to maximise the use of this new tool, probabaly regestering a whole host of new business ideas and reinvigerating others. I submit that the regestration rules be changed to allow access to this wonderful new potential. Place names have a place on the net the same as they do on the ground.
