Registering a name

Applications to register a domain name are made via a registrar.
Reserved names are domain names that cannot be registered by law.
The name you choose must be available, not reserved and have the right syntax.
A domain name licence is a contract between you and a registrar and when you register one, you agree to a set of terms and conditions.
