auDA provides its views on the Zero Draft of the GDC was published on 2 April 2024 and was presented to UN Member States on 5 April 2024. It will be negotiated by governments over the next few months and is scheduled to be   adopted at the Summit of the Future in September 2024. 

auDA's submission to the NETmundial+10 is taking place in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 29-30 April, convened by the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee. The meeting will bring together government, private sector, civil society and technical stakeholders from around the world to discuss and build consensus on how to strengthen and improve the multi-stakeholder governance framework.

Sarai Faleupolu Tevita is the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Director at the National University of Samoa. Sarai discusses how she got her start in the internet governance sector, her experience as an ICANN fellow and the importance of advocating for the multi-stakeholder model of internet governance.

auDA recently provided a comments on the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Leadership Panel's paper titled, The Internet We Want, which sets out a high-level vision for the future of the internet. The call for comments closed on 1 March 2024.
