Melbourne played host to the Australia & New Zealand Internet Awards (ANZIA) ceremony. Over 200 people were in attendance to celebrate some of the most creative and diverse online projects which were rewarded for their outstanding contribution to the Internet community in Australia and New Zealand. This is the biggest turnout in the ANZIA’s six year history.

auDA has given consent to ApexIT Pty Ltd’s intention to terminate its auDA registrar accreditation under clause 2.2 of the Registrar Agreement. On 21 July 2014, ApexIT ceased to be an auDA accredited Registrar.
Registrants who were previous customers of ApexIT must transfer all their .au domain names to a new Registrar of Record before it expires.

A survey of more than 3,000 Australians has found .au domain name registrations are on the rise, with 76% of all domain name holders choosing .au, an increase of 2% on last year.

The Deed of Undertaking that Crazy Domains Pty Ltd (now called Web Address Registration Pty Ltd) entered into in July 2013 (see below) required the company to, at its own cost, engage an independent registered company auditor approved by auDA to audit its compliance with the Deed over a two year period.
