The .au member portal enables members to access information and update your contact details.

It will allow you to:    

  • Access on-demand auDA webinar content  
  • Access eLearning content about registering and managing .au domain names and maintaining a secure and accessible website   
  • Update your contact details and subscription preferences for auDA communications  
  • Contact the .au membership team.

The .au member portal requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) and you can use either a Microsoft or Salesforce authentication app.

.au member portal FAQs

How do I access the .au member portal?

For existing members, we're progressively rolling out invitations to the portal between 22 April and 20 May. During this time, you'll receive an email containing your unique link to create your member portal username and password.

If you're a new .au member, you'll receive a welcome email and a link to set up your portal account. 

Contact the .au membership team if you don’t have a copy of that email or if the link has expired and we’ll send you a new link to setup your access.  

If you’re not yet a .au member, join today. It’s complimentary and provides access to a range of benefits and services.

Are my contact details secure?  

auDA is committed to the highest levels of security, including ensuring the security of our .au member data. We only collect personal information that enables us to do our work. 

Our Privacy Policy is available on the auDA website and clearly sets out: 

  • What information we collect 
  • How we collect personal information 
  • The purposes for which we collect, hold and use personal information. 

auDA maintains best practice cyber defences and security standards, including testing our defences through regular evaluation and testing by specialist third parties, and hold ISO 27001 certification – the global standard for information security.

Why does the .au member portal require multi-factor authentication?

auDA is committed to ensuring your details are as secure as possible. The use of multi-factor authentication is strongly recommended for all online services where personal information is being stored. We believe it is an appropriate measure for the .au member portal.

Do I have to download a particular multi-factor authenticator?

No. If you have an existing authentication app on your smartphone, you can use that to access the .au member portal. We’ve created video user guides for both authenticator apps to help get you started:

How do I update my details via the .au member portal?

I’ve tried logging in but it won’t recognise my username or password. What should I do?  

If you’ve forgotten your password, simply click the “forgot password” link and you’ll receive a link to reset your password. If you’re still having trouble, send us an email and we’ll help you resolve the issue.

I have a question or concern regarding my .au domain name, do I need to login to the .au member portal to raise the issue?

Not at all. You can contact auDA via the General enquiry form on the auDA website.
