Complaints and disputes

auDA oversees the complaints and dispute policies relating to .au domain names and the .au domain industry.

We oversee two distinct processes in .au

Choosing the right path

If you have a concern about a party’s eligibility to hold a .au domain name licence or .au domain name provider’s conduct, where you consider there may be a potential breach of the .au Licensing Rules, you can lodge a complaint.

If you believe another party’s .au domain name licence infringes your intellectual property rights, you can lodge a dispute under the auDRP.

auDA’s scope

auDA is able to take action in line with .au rules and policies, which includes ensuring .au domain name registrations meet the requirements under the .au Licensing Rules. auDA responds to request from enforcement agencies in accordance with our .au Licensing Rules.
