San Juan, Puerto Rico will host the 79th Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN79) Community Forum on 2-7 March 2024.

The Community Forum is a major global multi-stakeholder event that kicks off the annual meeting cycle for ICANN. The forum includes time for internal work of the Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees (SO/ACs), cross-community interaction, and plenary sessions on topics of community-wide interest.

Members of the auDA team participate at each ICANN meeting alongside representatives of the Australian Government and members of the Australian internet community.

Join our webinar to hear what key issues were discussed at ICANN79 and take-home messages from the meeting.

About ICANN meetings

ICANN meetings have been central to ICANN’s multi-stakeholder model since its formation in 1998. They provide a venue for learning about ICANN, advancing policy work, conducting outreach, exchanging best practices, conducting business deals, and interacting with members of the ICANN community, Board, and organisation.

The meetings are designed to meet a diverse range of needs for ICANN’s Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees (SO/ACs), staff, and newcomers alike.
