Sergey Litvinov - Project Officer, IP Australia
Sergey has a strong knowledge of trade marks legislation and practice, having extensive experience as an examiner and trainer of examiners. He currently works on the ongoing improvement of examination practice. Sergey has co-designed a number of updates to the Trade Marks Office Manual of Practice and Procedure, including better guidance on assessing the relevance of business names in trade marks evidence. Sergey is a qualified Australian Trade Marks Attorney and has previously worked in an in-house legal department advising on trade mark matters.
