NetThing, Australia’s Internet Governance Forum, is an annual event which brings a diverse multidisciplinary community together for the discussion of issues about the internet and internet governance in Australia. It is an open, inclusive platform for the exploration of Australian technology policy issues, aiming to mobilise the community to collaborate on solutions.  

This year’s theme is Cooperation and collaboration: Australia’s commitment to supporting the future of internet governance. 

NetThing 2023 will be held in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum on Monday 28 August 2023 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. It will be a hybrid event, with the ability to participate in-person or online.
