The auDA Foundation has announced the 15 recipients of its $600,000 2022 Grant Round. Recipients will receive $40,000 each for an education, research or community project that will enhance the utility of the internet for the benefit of Australians.

The .au is an important part of Australia’s internet ecosystem. In fact, the Federal Government has deemed the .au domain name system (DNS) part of Australia’s suite of critical infrastructure alongside other networks, assets and services upon which Australians rely for social and economic wellbeing, such as energy and financial services.  

2022 has been an historic year for auDA and .au. We celebrated 36 years of .au, launched a new Australian namespace, bolstered .au trust and security, connected with industry peers at home and abroad, ushered in a new era for the .au membership program and much more.
